Weller Metalworks is pleased to announce Tim Webb as our new Chief Financial Officer effective February 19, 2024. Tim will live in Illinois and have an office at Laser Precision, and travel often to other Weller locations.
Tim brings over 30 years of experience in finance roles primarily with manufacturing companies. Most recently, Tim served as the Director of Portfolio Operations for Allied Industrial Partners – a private equity firm based in Houston, Texas. Prior to Allied, Tim was the CFO for a private equity backed manufacturing and software services company with eleven locations.
Prior to his private equity roles Tim spent 13 years at Caterpillar in a variety of finance and accounting roles supporting several divisions. His last 6 years at Caterpillar he served as the CFO for the North American Excavation division where he managed multiple global manufacturing locations. Tim was also an integral member of the Caterpillar Tunneling division as the Chief Accounting Officer while living in Canada during the acquisition of Lovat, Inc – another tunnel boring manufacturing company. Tim also held Internal Audit / Compliance roles at Caterpillar. Prior to Caterpillar, Tim served in Audit, Finance and Data Analytic roles in the healthcare and management consulting sectors.
Tim has a BA in Economics from Eastern Illinois, and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). Tim is also a veteran of the US Army.
